The Four Class Levels in Komyo Reiki Kai

Shoden, First Degree
- enables students to practice Reiki healing on themselves. Students
learn about the history of Reiki, Reiki lineage, The Five Reiki Principles,
standard and traditional hand positions for self-treatment, as well as
a simple Buddhist meditation technique. Traditional Japanese Reiki
methods are taught, and four reiju (attunements) are given


◆ Shoden class is done in one session.
◆ Four Reiju or attunements will be given.
◆ Class hours: 4-5 hours
◆ Fee: 15,000 yen private/12,000 yen group (2 or more)

Chuden, Second Degree
- enables students to practice Reiki healing on others. Techniques are
taught to refine and strengthen one's use of Reiki, including the use
of three Reiki shirushi (symbols) and jumon (mantras), and how to send
distance Reiki. Additional traditional Japanese Reiki methods are
taught

◆ Chuden class is done in one session.
◆ Four Reiju (attunements) will be given.
◆ Class hours: 4 hours.
◆ Fee: 20,000 yen private/15,000 group (2 or more)

Okuden, Third Degree
- advanced study of Reiki energy with an inward focus on the
practitioner's connection with Reiki energy. Reiki energy is improved
and the energy flow is strengthened. The fourth Reiki shirushi (the
Master Symbol) is taught, and two reiju (attunements) are given.

◆ Okuden class is done in one session, but a student is recommended to take a refresher course.
◆ Two Reiju (attunements) will be given.
◆ Class hours: 4 - 5 hours.
◆ Fee: 50,000 yen

Shinpiden, Fourth Degree
- student becomes a Komyo Reiki Kai Shihan (Teacher), learns how to
perform reiju and share Reiki healing with others. Special criteria
apply for this class, please ask for more information.
